About the GNFL

The Great Northern Football League is based in the Geraldton and surrounding regions of Western Australia. We affiliate to Country Football WA.

The GNFL’s history dates back to 1961 and as well as being one of the best country competitions in WA, we are famous for producing some of the best AFL talent per capita in Australia.

The League has close ties with the East Fremantle, WAFL Club and we now have Men’s, Colts and Women’s Competitions allowing players to easily transition to our clubs from the GNJFL.
